-:ACOUSTIC OR CLASSIC GUITARS:-
Acoustic and classic guitars are very similar to each other. The main difference is the shape. Acoustic and classic guitars sound nearly similar. So they are included together.
Acoustic guitar is a musical instrument that creates a melody sound by resonating the sound of string when the string is striked. The name ‘acoustic guitar’ is used to separate it from electric guitars that create sound by electronic amplification. Technically the sound in an acoustic guitar resonates in the body part. The lower part of the acoustic guitar serves as the sound box. More is the width of body, more is the resonance, more is the loudness.

Acoustic guitars are mostly played or used by singers. It requires less effort and accuracy to strike and hold the strings. Compared to electric guitars. Acoustic guitars provide a good quality of sound without any external attachments. Good quality wood like rosewood, spruce can also increase the quality of sound.
_ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC GUITARS_
Electro-acoustic guitars are same as acoustic guitars. Except for the socket installed in it for the sound amplifying lead or the frequency adjuster. It can be played while connected to amplifier or without the amplifier. The socket is built in, and attached to the side of the sound box (body). Due to its amplified version it is considered as new type. An acoustic guitar can be converted into electro-acoustic either temporarily or permanently. This guitar is mostly used for concerts or any stage shows.

_SEMI-ACOUSTIC GUITARS_
Semi acoustic guitars are different from acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars. It is an electric guitar with some hollow parts in its body. They are called hollow-body electric. It is played without cable socket. EQ is installed in it and has its own amplification built in. Thick wood is used in its body part as compared to acoustic guitar. Due to this resonance is less. These guitars does not provide right volume or melody without amplification. In these hollow space is not enough to provide proper amplification. Semi acoustic guitars are mostly used in hard play like rock bands. They are known for their tendency to feedback (loop of guitar signals coming back to guitar without reaching to amplifier ), when distorted (distortion and overdrive are audio signals that are used to change the sound of amplified music). Semi-acoustic guitars are known famous for their styles.

-:EQ:-
It is an ability to adjust the frequency of guitar. You can adjust it while playing to give more base treble to the sound of your guitar.
_ARCHTOP ACOUSTIC GUITARS_
Archtop guitars have such name due to the curved top body surface rather than the flat ones. You will notice it from side view. These guitars are famous for their f-holes. Good archtop guitars have thick plank used in the curved shape and are expensive. Cheap ones are carved with plywood and are forced into curve shape. Archtop guitars are mostly played in jazz music. Mainly it is played in bands or group music. It is not suitable for solo music play. Connect it with amplifier for solo play. It provides smoothness in the sound. They are also called hollow-body guitars with steel strings.

_RESONATOR ACOUSTIC GUITARS_

Resonator guitars come with three body designs:-
Single-cone design or popularly known as biscuit design. In this design only one big cone is installed that works as resonators.

Tricone, as the name suggests comes with three cones. They work as resonators.

Dobro or inverted-cone design which is also popularized as spider bridge.

A dobro or resonator guitars are played with different tuning variety. These guitars are known for their unique and powerful sound.
